WHY US

EduCHAMPS Academy, a leading specialist in academic enrichment programme, nurtures every individual to be a champion via ADVANCED BRAIN TRAINING and the 5 ‘A’s METHOD. RGS, WAR, HOTS & SACC METHOD ARE EDUCHAMPS TRADEMARK. Our school management system will monitor student attendance, online fee payment, registration, close monitoring of students’ results via WAR and School Management System.

ADVANCED BRAIN TRAINING and 5 ‘A’s METHOD  (Active Understanding, Active Storage,   Active Recall, Active Analysis and Advance Application)

Through 5 ‘A’s METHOD,  memory capacity will increase tremendously, as will the brain’s information processing capability and functioning, all contributing to a higher capacity to cope with spiraling subject demands and the need for high-speed learning.

“Research has demonstrated that when teachers use student progress monitoring, students learn more, teacher decision making improves, and students become more aware of their own performance. A significant body of research conducted over the past 30 years has shown this method to be a reliable and valid predictor of subsequent performance on a variety of outcome measures, and thus useful for a wide range of instructional decisions” (Deno, 2003; Fuchs, Deno, & Mirkin, 1984; Good & Jefferson, 1998).

(SACC Method)

SACC Method which stands for State, Apply, Compare and Conclude is an EduCHAMPS’ trademark. It is an effective answering technique which will help students to score distinctions in their Science examinations.

● State the facts required.
● Apply the facts in the specific question.
● Compare between or among the variables in the question.
● Conclude your findings relevant to the question.

Below are the different roller coaster cars moving on the tracks.

eduCHAMPS-SACC

If all the above roller-coaster cars are moving equally fast, which one has the most kinetic energy? Why?

Model Answer: Car R. It has the most number of people in the Car with the most mass thus when it is at point A, it has the most gravitational potential energy, and when it starts to move, most of the gravitational potential energy will be converted to kinetic energy.

Higher Order Thinking Strategies (HOTS)

Higher Order Thinking Strategies (HOTS) is our in-house strategy to solving challenging Mathematics problems quickly and effectively and is easily grasped by all our students.

An example showing Higher Order Thinking Strategies:

Example 1:

Joseph and Bell were given some money each. If Joseph and Bell spent $100 and $50 each day respectively, Joseph would still have $1400 when Bell had spent all her money. If Joseph and Bell spent $50 and $100 each day respectively, Joseph would still have $3800 when Bell had spent all her money. How much money was given to each of them?
